DATOS SOBRE LA ACTIVIDAD

OBJETIVOS:

Objectives:

The course aims to cover all the services, commodities and specialties for food and
non-food products for which microalgae are a promising and sustainable feedstock.
The course include some lab works where data will be generated and analyzed to
identify the main bottlenecks that R&D should focused on to turn this potential
biotechnology into a real opportunity that will provide significant benefits
encompassing food and nutrition security, economic and social development and
ecosystem services in coastal areas.

12:00 – 13:00 Microalgae as feedstock for biofuels (Dra. María Barbosa, University of Wageningen)
